Skone not Scone?
Every culture has a "fried bread"
Tom Smith named his bread dough invention SKONE and had it trademarked in 1973. This can cause confusion when some hear the word "scone", they may think of the British biscuit-like pastry that is often served with tea.
Our "Skone" is a special recipe dough that is rolled, cut and deep fried. We use our fried bread to make sandwiches and desserts.
"Everything tastes better on a Skone! "
